OUR STORY
It all started around mid-year of 2016, after Ahmad (former group bass player for Stella) and Nawi (former band's for Project S) completed their studies in a local university in Bangi and awaiting job opportunities. In the time, they established a band named LILY. To fill in the spots for their band, they invited Muqri (former group of Project S guitarist, who’s currently with Hanabee) to fill in the guitarist spots and his acquaintance, Ritz, who’s responsible for the drummer position.

After few months of practice and played small shows around the city's capital, Muqri and his colleague left LILY to pursue personal interest. With passion for musics that still pumped up in Ahmad and Nawi, Luq appointed as the lead singer and Najmi (a travelling music guru) appointed to fill in the drummer position, both of them volunteered to fill in the vacancy for the band in exchange for love and passion. For Nawi and Ahmad, this is the best decision they have made. Luq is Nawi ex-bandmate in Project S as the band’s leading singer and Najmi, a musician guru who’s studied in the same university back then. In the time, LILY is changed to Dewata officially due to the change of the members. That time, Dewata is focusing more to the British pop vibe. In the mid-2017, Dewata added another member as the main/lead guitarist, Afiq (a local art/music consigner) who is a friend and who was also a guitarist for a band in the same university. To short things up, all of them studied in the same university in that time, but never meet. Dewata has performed on some of the battles and events within the university. Not seeing any developments with Dewata’s progressions and ways, the band decided to change their music projection/ways to indie pop and changed the name Dewata to ROSELITHE. The idea of the name Roselithe comes during the first record of the State of Mind song. The name is taken from the word roselite, a type of gemstones and for the uniqueness of the name is changed to Roselithe.

Projection of the music in Roselithe changed time to time. First towards the British pop and finally to indie pop because it’s more appropriate at that time for the market. To date, Roselithe has released the physical demo of its own which has one single and two demos in early 2019. One of the first successful demos which attracts the most views is Ocean’s Lullaby which had been uploaded on YouTube. This Demo also grab the attention of Mr. JD Wong from Pop Shuvit and offers Roselithe to record this song ASAP and the result will be upload/publish soon. At the end of 2019, Roselithe had launched a digital single, titled All We Need. As the time being, Roselithe intends to release their first EP in 2020 and currently actively recording songs to fit into the EP. So please be patient.
